In this 9th week of autumn, we present you with a menu full of traditional flavours. Enjoy every day with the best proposals for this cosy weather!
Welcome to our Weekly Menu:
During the 9th week of autumn, nature prepares for winter and it is the perfect time to enjoy hearty dishes such as fabada asturiana, typical of northern Spain, where the cold starts to be felt more intensely.
A curious and relevant fact is that on 28 November 1520, during Ferdinand Magellan's expedition, the sailors celebrated one of the first Thanksgiving feasts in recorded history. After having crossed the strait that would later bear his name, they prepared a special meal with the few provisions they had left, celebrating having left the difficult waters of southern America behind them. This impromptu meal is a good example of how, even in the toughest of times, food can be a unifying and uplifting experience.
The autumn weather invites us to the table and to share these flavours, full of history and tradition, which are so much ours.
