At this time of year, autumn brings an abundance of fresh and nutritious produce. Pumpkins and aubergines are at their best, ideal for preparing comforting recipes like the cream of pumpkin and carrot soup or the aubergine and red lentil lasagne.
Pulses are perfect for hot dishes that help us to warm up, such as the verdinas with cod. We cannot forget seasonal fruits such as apples and grapes, excellent as dessert or in delicious cakes such as the banana sponge cake. Taking advantage of these seasonal ingredients enriches our palate and connects us with nature, promoting a more sustainable diet.
