The entrance, adorned with potted plants, was inviting. As we walked through the door, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff who escorted us to our table in the main dining area. The interior décor combines rustic and modern elements, with wooden tables and warm lighting creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
The atmosphere is described as informal and comfortable, ideal for enjoying a relaxed meal. The décor combines elements of a delicatessen with a café-restaurant, creating a unique space that invites you to enjoy both the dishes and the overall experience.
Service
The service throughout the meal was exceptional. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive, with good recommendations for the menu and making sure our experience was perfect. Despite the informal atmosphere, the service was very professional and warm.
Gastronomy
- For starters, we ordered a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and fresh basil. The presentation was impeccable and the pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce had that homemade touch that you only find in a good Italian restaurant.
- We continued with a wood-fired pizza, with a crispy base and toppings of mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and rocket. The combination of fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked dough was excellent. The crunchy texture of the base contrasted nicely with the softness of the cheese and the freshness of the rocket.
- Finally, we couldn't miss the tiramisu. This classic Italian dessert arrived elegantly presented, with a generous coating of cocoa powder and a sprig of mint. The cream was smooth and light with the perfect balance of coffee that you would expect from an authentic tiramisu.
Value for money
The value for money at La Bottega di Davanti is good. Dishes are authentic and well prepared, with reasonable prices between 20 and 30 euros per person. It is a good choice for quality Italian food without spending too much.

All in all, our visit to La Bottega di Davanti was a good experience. The combination of good food, a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service make this restaurant a place where we will definitely return to further explore their delicious Italian menu and enjoy their hospitality.
