Ideal for sharing with the family or enjoying on a special occasion.
Ingredients (for 4 people):
- For the hamburger:
- 500 g minced veal (or a mixture of veal and pork).
- 1 egg.
- 50 g breadcrumbs.
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped.
- Fresh parsley, chopped to taste.
- Salt and black pepper to taste.
- To assemble the burger:
- 4 hamburger buns (preferably brioche).
- 4 slices of bacon.
- 1 large avocado, sliced.
- 8 slices of tomato.
- 4 fresh lettuce leaves.
- 4 slices of Parmesan cheese (you can use shavings if you prefer).
- Sauce to taste (mayonnaise, mustard or ketchup).
- Olive oil for cooking.
Elaboration:
- Mix the minced meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Knead until the ingredients are well integrated.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape into thick patties. Set aside.
- Cook the bacon slices in a hot frying pan with a little olive oil until crispy. Remove and place on absorbent paper.
- In the same skillet, cook the burgers over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown on the outside and to desired doneness.
- Open the hamburger buns and toast them lightly in the frying pan or in the oven.
- Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the hot burger. On top, add two slices of tomato, crispy bacon, avocado and slices of parmesan cheese.
- Finish with the sauce of your choice and place the lid on the bread.
Suggested presentation:
- For a special touch to the presentation, sprinkle "ham powder" around the plate (you can prepare it by crushing dry or crispy serrano ham).
- Serve the burger with fries or a light salad.
Additional advice:
- Point of meat: If you prefer juicier burgers, cook them for a shorter time to get them medium rare.
- Homemade sauces: Try making a special sauce by mixing mayonnaise with a little mustard and honey for a unique touch.
- Variations: You can add caramelised onions or sautéed mushrooms to personalise your burger.
