These crispy chicken fingers are the perfect appetizer or light meal to share. Coated in panko, they are incredibly crispy and tasty, as well as being very easy to prepare.

Ingredients (for 4 persons):
- 500 g chicken breast
- 100 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 150 g panko
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Extra virgin olive or sunflower oil for frying
Elaboration:
- Preparing the chickenCut the chicken breasts into evenly sized strips so that they cook evenly. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.
- Organising the breadingPrepare three bowls: one with the flour, one with the beaten eggs and one with the panko.
- Breading the chicken stripsDredge each chicken strip first in the flour (shaking off the excess), then in the beaten egg, and finally cover them completely with panko, pressing lightly so that it adheres well.
- Frying the fingersHeat plenty of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken strips in batches until golden brown and crispy. Place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
- ServeArrange the chicken fingers on a plate and serve with your favourite sauces.

- For a healthier version, you can bake them in the oven at 200 °C for 20-25 minutes, turning them over halfway through.
- If you prefer a spicy touch, add a pinch of hot paprika or chilli powder to the panko.
- Be sure not to overfill the pan when frying so that the oil maintains its temperature.
