These chocolate cookies are ideal for any occasion, full of sweetness and crunch, perfect with a glass of milk or a hot coffee.
Ingredients:
- 400 g wheat flour
- 200 g butter at room temperature
- 100 g white sugar
- 100 g brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- A pinch of salt
- 100 g chocolate chips
- 100 g chopped walnuts
Elaboration:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream the butter with the white and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs to this mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter and egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Add the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts and mix well.
- Form tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on the baking tray, spaced apart. Slightly flatten each portion into a biscuit shape.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
Suggested presentation:
- Serve the cookies with a glass of fresh milk or hot coffee for a perfect snack.
- You can decorate them with a few extra chocolate chips just after taking them out of the oven for an extra touch.
